Respond quickly and dig deeper at every level
Following the successful conclusion of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the Party Committee of Dongfang Lingri attached great importance to the event, promptly organizing special study sessions. On October 27, it convened a Party Committee meeting to thoroughly study the contents of the plenary session communiqué and comprehensively deploy measures for its implementation.
 
The company’s three Party branches actively responded to the Party Committee’s call. In October and November, through branch committee meetings and general meetings of Party members, and utilizing various methods such as special Party lectures, video-based learning, and in-depth study of materials, they organized all Party members to thoroughly study the communiqué of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the “Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development” and its explanatory notes, as well as interpretations by authoritative experts. These efforts ensured that all members were fully engaged in the study and gained a thorough understanding of the content.

Practical Focus, Discussion and Exchange
On November 27, the Party Committee’s Theoretical Study Center Group of Dongfang Lingri held an expanded meeting dedicated to studying the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the strategic positioning, development goals, and key tasks of the 15th Five-Year Plan, with a focus on the company’s specific circumstances.

Du Yunhua emphasized that the value of learning lies in its practical application and in laying the groundwork for the future. He outlined three key areas of focus: First, enhancing independent R&D and production capabilities, while proactively planning and optimizing the supply chain; second, promoting a comprehensive green and low-carbon transition by strengthening the application of technologies such as cascading energy utilization, recovery of low-grade energy, and flue gas purification; and third, proactively planning for carbon emissions management, conducting in-depth research on carbon footprints and carbon metrics, and actively adapting to future policy and market changes.

Through a series of study sessions and seminars, Dongfang Lingri has further unified its thinking and clarified its direction, providing strong ideological impetus and practical guidance for the scientific formulation of the company’s development strategy, active integration into the broader national context, and the creation of a new chapter in industrial upgrading and corporate development.
